about-order-feeds

This topic describes order feeds, the requirements to use them, the definitions of the elements they can contain, and how to download an order feed file. It contains the following sections:

Overview

An order feed is a CSV file that you download from MIP. It contains information about which of your products that have been purchased on an eBay website, the buyer ID and contact information, pick up or shipping address, and the method used for payment.

There are two types of order feeds. The only difference is how often they are generated:

  • Every 30 minutes, which includes all sales in the last 24 hours.
  • Once a day (early in the morning), which includes all sales from the last 10 days.

Requirements

  • Order feeds must contain all of the elements listed as required in the Order feed definitions table, and may include some or all of the optional or conditional elements.

Obtaining order feeds

To obtain order feeds:

  1. Connect to the MIP file server and open the order folder.
  2. Download the order-latest file to use the order feed generated every 30 minutes.
  3. Download the order-latest-eod file to use the order feed generated every 24 hours,
Note: Order feed files are archived for 90 days and then are permanently deleted from the eBay site.
