As a third party assisting sellers with the checkout flow, you desire to notify eBay of your seller’s checkout processing status at every point in the post-transaction processing flow. You also wish to display to the Seller and Buyer, the correct state of checkout on MyeBay. Two powerful calls can help you accomplish this task. In this example, we will walk through an example, and examine the state of the transaction, and MyeBay at each step. These steps specifically pertain to single transactions. Orders are not discussed in this article.
In the case of a PayPal payment, please note that the 3rd party checkout provider should never call ReviseCheckoutStatus. In this case, CompleteSale can be used to complete the shipping and feedback process.
