Why does my feedback score get reset to zero on the sandbox?

The sandbox registration tool allows you to set up users very quickly for testing your functionality. When creating the user, it gives you the facility to have the user start off with a maximum feedback score of 1000. This helps you test functionality with a minimum feedback requirement. For example, if you want to list a Featured Plus item, you need to have a minimum feedback score of 10. Click on the documentation for a complete list of feedback score requirements.

Since this is not the actual score, when you transact for the first time with that UserID, the score gets adjusted to the actual value of zero. From then on, the score builds normally.

We are working on a solution that will correct this problem. Check the product roadmap and watch out for solutions for the Sandbox.
