Given that a Dutch auction has a quantity of items, what happens with EndItem and a Dutch auction?  Does it end one item in the 'stack' or does it end the whole auction?

A Dutch auction is an auction that features a quantity of items greater than one.  Using the EndItem API call for a Dutch auction ends the entire auction, not just a single item in the stack.  If you list a Dutch auction with a quantity of '5', a single EndItem call will end the auction for the entire quantity.  Instead, the ReviseItem API call can be used to modify the quantity of a Dutch auction.  Doing that is simple:

Changing the Quantity of a Dutch auction to '3'
  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <ReviseItemRequest xmlns="urn:ebay:apis:eBLBaseComponents">
  <Version>547</Version>
  <ErrorLanguage>en_US</ErrorLanguage>
  <WarningLevel>High</WarningLevel>
- <Item>
  <ItemID>ITEM_ID_OF_DUTCH_AUCTION</ItemID>
  <Quantity>3</Quantity>
  </Item>
- <RequesterCredentials>
  <eBayAuthToken>YOUR_TOKEN</eBayAuthToken>
  </RequesterCredentials>
  </ReviseItemRequest>
