Modifying Item.Description via AddToItemDescription vs. changing the property via ReviseItem call

Should I modify an item.Description using AddToItemDescription instead ReviseItem call?

Detailed Description

    A listing description can be modified via AddToItemDescription or ReviseItem API call. 

• AddToItemDescription
  • Making AddToItemDescription call does not change the given listing's  ReviseStatus value
  • AddToItemDescription appends text to the end of the given listing's Description. The API keeps the original description and appends a section that contains the new description along with the timestamp to the end of the Description area showing on the View Item page as below:

•  ReviseItem
  • Changing Item.Description via ReviseItem API alter the given listing's ReviseStatus value from false to true
  • ReviseItem allows you to Append, Prepend or Replace an listing's description with DescriptionReviseMode property as follows.
