 Established in 2004, the eBay Certified Provider Program recognizes third party companies excelling at providing the tools or services an eBay seller needs to grow their business and increase efficiency. The Certified Provider Program provides an abundance of marketing and educational resources to those third parties in the program aimed at increasing their member subscriptions, eBay partnerships, visibility on eBay and other eBay offline avenues of marketing.

The Certified Provider designation helps an eBay seller identify providers with the expertise and experience to assist in growing their eBay business. In addition to other criteria, participants must have extensive experience with eBay, pass certification exams and provide a number of proven customer references that are checked by eBay.
