| A new tool and enhanced API technology provide support to selling focused developers that list with Item Specifics. The new technology will enable high volume sellers to manage Item Specifics in a very easy and effective way. eBay will provide new Active-X control tool that allows sellers to add and edit Item Specifics values on several hundred items with 1-click using a grid like user interface similar to Excel. A seller's updated inventory can be saved to the database using the various interfaces in the grid. This allows for a very effective and user friendly seller interface to manage Item Specifics. |

| Further more the new Item Specifics "recommendation" technology will make populating Item specific values easier for sellers. The GetItemRecommendations API was enhanced to return suggested Item Specific values based on Item Title and Category. We are releasing an updated Bulk Attributes control that will start to use this existing call and its existing functionality. The API will also be integrated into the Active-X control grid, thereby making any application integration easier. |
