| Developers will have the ability to have messages and alerts pushed to them via platform notifications. The My Messages (aka My eBay inbox) and the Platform Notification Engine will be integrated.
The GetNotifcationPreferences and SetNotificationPreferences calls will be modified to accept six new event types (selecting from two different detail levels, for three types of My Messages content): |

- Return header or full body details for eBay-sent Alerts

- Return header of full body details for eBay-sent Messages

- Return header or full body details for member-to-member messages

| Platform notifications will have the same SOAP response as the GetMyMessages SOAP call (with the corresponding detail level). |

| Though you can choose to be notified of all three types of My Messages content, you can only subscribe to one amount of detail at a time. Developers will be able to mix/match to suit their needs. |
