If you are using Website Payments Standard, PayPal Developer Toolkits will help you automate the process of adding PayPal payment buttons to your database-driven web pages. They will also help you process order confirmations via Instant Payment Notification (IPN) and Payment Data Transfer (PDT).

Each PayPal Toolkit is a set of scripts or controls that assist developers with integrating PayPal into their website.

The toolkits provide basic functions that generate PayPal payment buttons and process Instant Payment Notifications (IPN).
