Developers can download the latest full release of the eBay SDK for Java. Before installation, please read about the changes to the SDK in the Readme file and see the changes to the API in the Trading API Release Notes.
The SDK contains user-authentication improvements released with Trading API version 557. These SDK changes include 3 new wrapper classes (GetSessionIDCall, GetTokenStatusCall, and RevokeTokenCall), along with new FetchTokenCall functionality that should be used in applications. Sample code delivered with the SDK is updated with the new user-authentication functionality.
The SDK also contains code that post-processes the stubs generated by the WSDL2Java tool, in order to help an application handle an unrecognized enum value received in a SOAP response.
Additionally, the SDK contains updated wrapper classes and other updates that facilitate your use of new API features. The new API features are described in the Trading API Release Notes.
Among the new API features supported in this SDK release are features that enable you to:
- Make listings available by default on another site
- Provide more information about prospective buyers for classified vehicle listings
- Use new functionality to find out when items were administratively canceled, and relist them
- Search for featured charities
- Specify free shipping with a new solution for offering free shipping
- Use new platform notifications for buyers
- Specify the number of days' worth of new and modified transactions that you want to retrieve
