the availability of a software development kit (SDK) that allows third parties to create entertainment and information applications that extend the TiVo service. |

| eBay leveraged an early version of the SDK to build a sample application that enables users to browse, bid, purchase and sell on eBay. Using this sample application, shoppers can use a remote control to shop and buy via the sample interface. |

| To run the sample application, just sign up for the eBay Developers Program as well as the TiVo Developers Program to get the eBay SDK for Java and the TiVo SDK. |
