| Note: eBay Product Services is no longer just for retrieving product-related information for Parts Compatibility (aka vehicle fitment). The Product and Product Metadata APIs can now support Product Creation, the ability to submit products for inclusion in the eBay catalogs. |
The versions of the two APIs required for Product Services are managed individually. Refer to the release notes for the latest information about changes or enhancements to each API:

| Product API Release Notes | This API lets you retrieve product information for categories that are catalog enabled. It also allows you to add new products to an eBay catalog where needed. |
| Product Metadata API Release Notes | This API retrieves metadata used to list items with Parts Compatibility or add products to an eBay catalog (Product Creation). |
