Getting Tokens

This chapter describes the procedures for getting and using tokens. These are procedures that developers must follow if their applications interact with the Trading API on behalf of other users.

If your application makes calls, on behalf of a user, that involve that user's private eBay information, those application calls must include permission in the form of a token. This chapter describes how to let users grant your application tokens to make these API calls on their behalf.
